Fashion Week!!

You should know that Trinidad and Tobago is the fashion capital of the Caribbean and I am very excited to say that Saturday was the kick off to fashion week!!
The first official shows for the twin islands are on May 31st in Tobago followed by the one on June 2nd in Trinidad. However unofficially, the release of two collections were displayed  at the Carlton Savannah on Saturday 29th May. These were the personal collections of Meiling's Noir collection and Anya Ayoung Chee's Anya de Rogue collection.

Note that I will be covering most of the shows for fashion week and I will be attending the ones on June 6th, so make sure to check out the live media coverage at Fashionlee. You could check out the schedule for more details at this link.

Oh I must advise you to attend one of the seminars in the Hyatt Regency! The ones on June 2nd and June 3rd are looking the best, featuring speeches by Dianne Hunte on "The Business of fashion" and Theo Faulkner on "The art of styling" on their respective days. For more info, check out this link
