My NYC Cherry Got Popped (sorry pops)

I finally got to visit NEW YORK  =D!!
The first day was full of events...
It started off so tretch with the blimpin freezing cold morning, and me like a big idiot, packed no warm clothes! (cry face) but my mommy, being a great mommy, brought me all the necessities to help me make it through the day :)

I had a wonderful breakfast prepared by my Godmother who is a chef, so I'm preparing myself for the shock of my life when I realise how much weight I put on during this trip. She made an apple stuffed crepe drizzled in caramel sauce and topped with creme fraiche (yummm).

In the afternoon, my mom and I took the metro from Jersey City to 34th Street New York. First, we went to the garment district where I saw my favourite store, Gracia. Then we hit Times Square =D. I was so blown away and mesmerized by the venue that I forgot how to be a good tourist and take pictures of everything. The next stop was Forever 21 and H&M.

After our little adventure in the city, we decided to walk to 34th street to catch the metro but somehow we ended up on 56th street! thanks to my mother's wonderful sense of direction and her blatant ignoring of all my pleas about not recognizing anything.

So we hailed out a yellow cab and made our way to 23rd street to the Institute of Culinary Education (ICE) where my godmother works. And there is where I had the most amazing dinner of my life! Before that dinner, I absolutely hated asparagus and now I love it! Then I went to another department at the school where a chocolate class was being conducted and the students gave me a plate of deliciousness. Pistachio and cranberries covered in dark chocolate is now my favourite crave (again yumm). Plus, I was introduced to avocado french fries which was again sooo yummm!

My experience so far from this trip is my Eat, Pray, Love rehab is certainly beginning and a New York experience by my godmother will get me both fat and fit.
xoxo,
be fashionlee;)

PS at 11 o'clock they fed me again (sigh...) and it tasted so good! - salad and a cheese and onion gourmet sandwich.

POSTING PICS TOMORROW :)
