Meiling: 2011 Summer collection,

So about a week ago, I worked as an usher for Meiling's show and witnessed her 2011 Summer collection. The  theme was "Last train to San Fernando". She played back in times calypso music to maintain an environment of the theme that she was trying to portray. All of the female models wore their hair in cornrows and back into a neat bun. Meiling had very tailored looks, used a lot of plaid and accessorized with plenty of fedoras. However, she still managed to sneak in a few of the circulating trends for 2K11. She made use of the infamous sheer trend in a few of her pieces. I also spotted the nun neckline hem, which has become popular in many international editorials and lastly, she incorporated pleats!
I uploaded all of the pictures onto Fashionlee's facebook page so check them out there in the link below.

Furthermore, I will give you the insider look on a couple of the fashionable people I ushered to their seats.

She looks even more beautiful in person and the colours of her dress
complemented her skin tone perfectly.

 My fellow ushers.

Cute jumper.

She was rushing out of the door but I managed to snap the details of her dress. TG!

Beautiful necklace.

 I loved her hair piece.

Tried my best to get a good picture with my camera. (Looks like a new camera is needed).

Great ensembles! (On the left) sweet and simple.
(On the right) a cute play on sequins and I'm obsessed with her fringe bag!

I finally learned his name. It is Sparrow and he is a teacher at UTT.

Can't wait to intern fro this woman.
xoxo,
