Artist with an attitude

Walking through the streets of the Meat-packing district, I came across the work of Hulbert Waldroup. I was blown away by his pop art- bold colours, bold statements, pin-up girls and musical legends. This guy seemed to be my kind of artist. I was given a call card so when I got back to my dorm, I went onto his site after I uploaded all the pictures I had taken that day.
His home page had an interesting quote that ended "...What is God's curse to me is my gift to you."
and his about page was even more interesting. He basically cited facts about himself in point-form; his achievements, his flaws and his background. I recommend that you find the time to check out in site, it's http://www.hulbertwaldroup.com/ .

Definitely pieces of art I would like to hang up on the walls of my home some day.
